Public launch of our Campaign Against Domestic Violence

WHEN: Sunday 31st May, 2026, 11am
WHERE: McQuade Park – Corner of Hawkesbury Valley Way & George Street, Windsor

We have invited a range of local organisations that support victims of domestic violence, along with the Mayor and State and Federal representatives. This event will serve as an opportunity to promote our campaign while also raising awareness of Purple Friday and the Love Bites program.

During our 70 years we have provided equipment to Hawkesbury Hospital, raised funds for the erection of a new picket fence around McQuade Oval, arranged swimming lessons for older folk, organised bus trips for senior citizens, help self development programs for Year 11 students, established our Youth Foundation Trust to provide annual grants to assist our youth to achieve their goals and now, one of our most ambitious campaigns, STOPDV. For our STOPDV campaign, we need your help, by getting involved, donating and spreading the word.

With assistance from local support groups, we hope to hold larger awareness activities, which will require co-operation of Council, Police and other authorities.

Events will be advertised on this page, our Club website www.windsorrotary.org.au, Facebook, other social media platforms, through Support Groups and other outlets.

If you would like to be advised of up-coming events, please get in touch we will email you, well in advance of new events.
